2023 China’s Conveyor Belt Import and Export Data
According to statistics from the General Administration of Customs of China, in 2023, China’s total imports of conveyor belts increased by 39.1% year-on-year (the same applies below) to 10,800 tons. The total import value declined by 2.4% to 31 million U.S. dollars, while the average import price fell by 29.8% to 2,877 U.S. dollars per ton. Among these, imports of steel-cord conveyor belts surged by 41.6% to 7,802 tons; the import value decreased by 17.3% to 10.32 million U.S. dollars, and the average price dropped by 41.6% to 1,322 U.S. dollars per ton. Imports of textile conveyor belts rose by 36.4% to 2,870 tons; the import value increased by 14.5% to 12.61 million U.S. dollars, while the average price fell by 16.0% to 4,394 U.S. dollars per ton. In 2023, China’s total exports of conveyor belts grew by 13.1% to 445,100 tons, and the total export value rose by 9.9% to 1.008 billion U.S. dollars, reaching a new all-time high. The average export price declined by 2.8% to 2,265 U.S. dollars per ton. Specifically, exports of steel-cord conveyor belts surged by 54.6% to 96,600 tons; the export value climbed by 49.6% to 281 million U.S. dollars, while the average price fell by 3.2% to 2,908 U.S. dollars per ton. Exports of textile conveyor belts rose by 4.3% to 333,700 tons; the export value declined by 2.3% to 663 million U.S. dollars, and the average price dropped by 6.3% to 1,988 U.S. dollars per ton.
